Spending Fast

Recently, I came across oneemptyshelf.com where she discussed that she was doing a spending fast for the year 2015. I was intrigued to say the least. I mused over it and finally decided that I wanted to join. My husband and I have been steadily paying off debt but this is really an experiment with myself. Often, I use shopping to deal with emotional issues, either positive or negative. I’m ready to pursue other things. I almost decided to not write about this ordeal but later thought that I could afford to spend five minutes each day, chronicling this journey. No fancy photos. No incredible graphic design. No precise editing. Just a few words. Just a few thoughts. And the timer is up…
